Welcome to All Hands on Deck!

All Hands On Deck is a community made up of primarily, but not exclusively, blind and visually impaired members who come together on a regular basis to socialize and share their life experiences. Each week we provide games, described Movies, Old Time Radio Programs, both described and nondescribed TV shows and informal conversation.

We think of ourselves as a family whose members offer support to one another and share knowledge, information, laughs, and just basic fun times. If you have not already done so, please come and join us! To receive The Current, our weekly E-Mail containing our schedule, announcements and links to programs, scripts, score sheets and rules to our games, and any updates or changes to The Current or site, please send a blank E-Mail, meaning nothing in the body of the E-Mail to:

The Decks and Rooms on All Hands On Deck

We have Three decks and ten main rooms, and four sub rooms, hosted on TeamTalk.
The decks are Main Deck, Navigation Deck and Sports Deck.

The Main Deck

The Main Deck is composed of the Jolly Roger, Seaside Cinema and Waterfall Lounge.
Jolly Roger is where we play all of our hosted games, that are not sports related.
The Seaside Cinema is where we stream Old Time Radio shows every Tuesday at 5:00 PM Central, and a movie every Sunday at 1:30 PM Central. If there is nothing being streamed then feel free to stream your own entertainment of choice.
If you want to sit back and relax with a beverage of your choice and shoot the breeze on topics ranging from books, to games, to family, to life, and everything in-between, check out the Waterfall Lounge.

The Navigation Deck

The Navigation Deck consists of three rooms. They are The Bridge, The Brig and The Lookout.
The Bridge is the only locked channel on the site. It is the room where the crew meets if we need to conduct business for the site.
The Brig is where you will find yourself if you continue to Rock the Boat after you have been warned by a Crew Member. If you find yourself in there feel free to rejoin us as soon as you like.
If you need technical assistance then we will be happy to help you in Lookout. This is the only channel on the site that has Duplex mode, that means multiple people can key up at the same time. We do this so both the person giving and receiving help can talk at the same time without waiting for each other to finish.

The Sports Deck

The Sports Deck. is where we will be playing all sports themed games. This deck is composed of the Bowling With Friends, Caddie Shack, Mississippi and Race Track channels.

The Four Sub Rooms of the Caddy Shack

The four sub rooms are Cyprus Point, National Golf Links of America, Royal County Down Golf Club and The 19th Hole.

The 19th Hole is where we will meet both before, and after, a golf game. We will meet there before to be assigned teams, and we will gather there after to go over the game and learn the winner.
There will always be four files that you can download in this channel. The first one will be Kitchens Kit, which is necessary to download any of the Kitchens Inc games. The second will be the Kitchens golf game itself, the third one will be all the extra golf courses and the forth will be a document explaining the distances each club will go. Also, if the course we will be using that month is not in the game it will be found in here as well.
